In the Borgo Il Santo, the old grancia of the hospital Santa Maria della Scala, close to the Maremma, there’s the medieval church of SS. Filippo e Giacomo with its simple stone façade, a portal surmounted by a round arch and a the gabled roof.

In this church, in its severe simplicity ceremonies and Holy Mass take place taking suggestive aspects and becoming theater of unforgettable moments….

Arriving at the church on a coach amidst the harmony and beauty of nature, which is able to create special feelings, the fragances of the typical Tuscna kitchen, toasting at the swimmig pool surrounded by the wonderful view of the countryside are the elements which characterize our ancient Borgo.
